Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger. Each time you visit the site, the server automatically stores technical information in log files: IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, browser type and the success of the request. This data is used only to operate the website securely and to fix technical problems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short period.

Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message) to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Form submissions are stored in the website database and sent to us by email. We do not share your data with third parties unless this is necessary to answer your request — for example when, at your request, we introduce you to one of our equipment or supply partners — or is required by law. Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address only to send you the newsletter (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by writing to us.

Cookies

This website uses technically necessary cookies to make the site work (for example security and session cookies). These do not require your consent. If we use analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will only do so with your prior consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Embedded videos

Some pages contain embedded YouTube videos. When you play a video, a connection to Google’s servers is established and data such as your IP address may be transmitted to Google. Please see Google’s privacy policy for details.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights, write to info@dersuessestopp.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, www.dsb.gv.at).

Changes

We may update this privacy policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
