What food printing earns youOpportunities, payback and workflow — with real numbers

A printed product sells for more than the same product plain, while the ink costs less than a cent. Here is where the extra revenue comes from, how fast a printer pays back — and what changes in your daily work.

Where the extra revenue comes from

Printing does not just decorate — it changes what you can sell, to whom and at what price.

A higher price per piece

Names, logos, photos and seasonal designs turn a standard product into a personal one — and personal products carry a premium.

Corporate & B2B gifting

Logo pralines, branded cookie boxes and event giveaways bring larger orders and repeat business from companies.

Seasonal collections

Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s, weddings — switch designs in seconds and launch a new range for every occasion.

Short runs, no tooling

No plates, moulds or transfer sheets: a run of 50 costs no more to set up than 5,000, so small orders become worth taking.

Products you couldn’t make before

Photo chocolates, printed macarons and personalised cakes open product lines that hand decoration never made economic.

Customers who come back

Personalised products get shared and remembered — and customers return for the next birthday, event or season.

An estimate to start a conversation, not a quote. Labour value counts time freed for other work — it is not a cash saving unless hours are actually reduced. Results depend on your products, prices, volume and setup.

What changes in your workflow

The return is not only in the price — it is in the hours, the consistency and the stress that disappear from daily production.

Questions about ROI

How accurate is the calculator?

It is an estimate based on your own numbers: price difference, volume, running costs and the hand-decorating time printing replaces. Edible ink (about €0.01 per piece) is already included. We check every calculation with you before anyone talks about an order.

What does a food printer cost?

It depends on the model, configuration and accessories. We do not publish list prices because the right setup depends on your production — tell us your products and volumes and we prepare a tailored offer.

What is not included in the numbers?

Packaging, design time for one-off artwork and your own marketing are not included. Labour value shows time freed for other work; it becomes a cash saving only if hours are actually reduced.

Can you check my numbers?

Yes. Use “Send me these numbers” in the calculator, or book a demo — we print on your own product and go through volumes, prices and payback together.
