Chocolissimo is one of Europe’s leading gift-chocolate brands, selling pralines and chocolate gifts across most European markets, mainly through country e-commerce stores.

Quality and reliability are central to a brand built on premium, giftable chocolate.

The challenge

Its earlier printing equipment was the weak link — frequent service, downtime, and print quality that fell short of the brand’s standard. As one representative put it, a machine was always in service.

Chocolate bars printed directly in an IMAGO food printer

The solution

The company moved to IMAGO printers and, over three years, replaced its entire printing fleet. Stable operation removed the downtime, automatic height detection cut manual checks and collisions, and the print quality finally matched the brand.

The results

The reliability let the team launch genuinely new products, including photo-quality printed chocolates that weren’t viable before, and build a more profitable, more distinctive range on equipment it could depend on.

Standardising on one reliable platform turned a chronic weak point into a product advantage.
