At a glance
- Warsaw cake and gingerbread studio, founded 2019
- IMAGO flatbed printer with local service
- ~8× weekly output, payback in 2–3 months
Agnieszka Krenc founded her Warsaw studio Krenc Kruszy in 2019. She creates decorated cakes and iced gingerbread — today for brands such as Netflix, Swarovski, Guess and Empik — without a large team behind her.
The challenge
Agnieszka had never used a printing machine. Colleagues warned her about cheaper printers with repairs that took more than three weeks, manual height adjustment and disappointing output per hour. She needed to grow volume, deliver identical quality across large brand orders, and have service close by — in her words, an “employee” who never calls in sick.

The solution
She invested in an IMAGO food printer with full service support just a short drive from her studio. The printer automated many production steps, removed the risk of manual errors and made every print repeatable — essential when a global brand orders hundreds of identical pieces.
The results
- Around eight times more cookies produced per week
- Return on investment within two to three months
- Contracts with high-profile brands and larger, more profitable projects
- Lower unit costs and a clear gain in prestige with customers
After three months I can finally guarantee customers mass production of personalised cakes — in brilliant print quality.
